Inca refugy. This archeological complex resisted landscapes in one
of the most deep canyons of the world (Apurimac) is previous to the
visit to Choquequirao (Cradle of Gold) it is considered as the for
decades the Spaniard Conquerors. The greatness of its work can be
appreciated with a perfect architecture and esthetic, the circuit is
full of natural attractions that grant the visitor a single
sensation of adventure in direct contact with nature.
Day 1 : CUSCO
– CACHORA – CHIQUISKA Pick up from the hotel 6_00 a.m. to start
the trip up to the town of Cachora, in the journey we wil stop a
moment to be able to appreciate from the bus the archeological
remains of Tarawasi, we will continue up to the bridge of Cunyac,
limit between the Departments of Cusco and Apurimac, then we will go
by the district of Curawasi and Waywite, to finally arrive to
Cachora, lunch (10.00 a.m aprox) from this place we will begin our
walk by a soft road to arrive to Capuliyoc (2900 masl) after two
hours of walking we will descend towards the camping of Chiquiska
(1930 masl), in this place we will have our first camping. Dinner,
overnight.
Day 2 :
CHIQUISKA – PLAYA ROSALINA - SANTA ROSA – MARAMPATA After
breakfast (5:00 a.m.) we will continue with our walking with
direction towards the Playa Rosalinas (beach) (1550 masl), to then
go up the slope very early with direction to Santa Rosa (2100 masl.)
this walk we will do it in three hours. To then ascend up to
Marampata (2850 masl) place for our lunch and camping it is a softer
ascending during this journey the whole road of the first day will
be able to be seen and the vegetation that exists in theplace.
Day 3 :
MARAMPATA – SUNCHUPATA – CHOQUEQUIRAO – MARAMPATA At the dawn
after breakfast (7_00 a.m.) we will continue with our walking with
direction to Choquequirao, passing by the sector of Sunchupata,
being part of Choquequirao, that is found at 20 minutres from
Marampata, continuing the walking a panoramic view of Choquequirao
is appreciated, after an hour of walking we get to Choquequirao.
This place will be visited for 5 hours always accompanied by the
guide who will certainly explain about this important inca refugy.
We will have our lunch in the Camping of the National Institute of
Culture INC. At the stated time we will start our return to
Marampata, place of our Camping.
Day 4 :
MARAMPATA – SANTA ROSA – CHIQUISKA – COCAMASANA After the
breakfast (7:30 a.m. we will continue withour walking of return
Descending upto the Playa Rosalinas place where we will have our
lunch continuing the walking ascending up to Cocamasana, place of
camping of this day.
Day 5 :
COCAMASANA – CAPULIYOC – CACHORA – QONOQ - CUSCO. A good
breakfast will be served in Cocamasana (6:00 a.m.) and return by the
same road to Cachora that is the slope that was walked the first day
being the walk softer until arriving to Capuliyoc, there we will
restart the walking, of approximately two hours, until arriving to
the town of Cachora, arriving (10.30) approx. In the journey we will
appreciate the flora and fauna as well as imponents sights of
snowies and the astonishing canyon of Apurimac at the afternoon we
will transfer to the medicinal spring falls of Qonoq, where we will
be for a space of an hour to thus then continue with our trip of
return to the city of Cusco (6-00 p.m.) transfer to the hotel and
end of our services.
